Solution Architecture
A target design with technology choices justified, integration points named and the growth path written down.
Overview
Architecture is where a project either becomes buildable or stays a wish. The value is in making the decisions explicit — why this platform, what it connects to, what happens when a component fails, and what has to change before capacity runs out.
We produce a design the implementation team can build from and the business can hold us to: logical and physical views, integration points, security controls, and the assumptions each decision rests on.
Decisions recorded
Every significant choice documented with its rationale and the alternatives considered.
Integration named
Every interface between platforms identified before build, not discovered during it.
Vendor independent
Technology selected against the requirement, including keeping what already works.
