Implementation
Build, configure, migrate and cut over to a plan — with test evidence and a documented rollback at every stage.
Overview
Implementation is where a good design either survives or quietly degrades. Work staged and configured before it reaches production shortens the change window, and a written build standard means the fifth instance matches the first.
We pre-stage wherever possible, execute to an agreed sequence with defined validation gates, and keep the source available until the target has been accepted.
Staged first
Configuration built and reviewed before the change window opens.
Validated per stage
Each layer proven before the next is enabled, with evidence retained.
Rollback ready
Every change window has a back-out position agreed before work starts.
What this covers
- Platform build, configuration and hardening
- Workload, data and application migration
- Cutover planning, rehearsal and execution
- Test planning and acceptance evidence
- As-built documentation and knowledge transfer
